Presently, the Daytona has become the pride of Noob factory, establishing itself as the flagship model and surpassing the popularity of their Submariner 116610LN and 116610LV. Since the adoption of 904L stainless steel in the replica watch industry, every factory’s primary focus has been on the development of super Rolex replicas, particularly the production of the Daytona. This emphasis directly impacts the competitive dynamic between Noob and ARF.
In my previous post, I mentioned that Noob was preparing to release two yellow gold Daytona watches, both of which are now available. Here, I’ll provide a brief review of one of them—the yellow gold model with a green dial.
Measuring at 12.5mm, the case of this yellow gold Daytona nearly matches the thickness of the original. Thanks to Noob’s newly developed 4130 movement, the overall case thickness has been reduced while maintaining all the functionalities of the original movement. The inner case is crafted from 904L stainless steel, while the outer yellow gold coating boasts a thickness of up to 5 mils.
The green dial is a personal favorite, lending the Daytona a versatility suitable for both men and women. Each small dial functions flawlessly, featuring a distinctive red circle within. The small seconds hand is located on the subdial at 6 o’clock, while the other two small dials display the minute and hour chronograph functions. To minimize the risk of malfunctions, we recommend limiting the operation of the chronograph buttons, a practice applicable to both Noob and ARF Daytona watches.
Remarkably, the Super Clone 4130 movement developed by Noob factory exhibits a minimal repair rate. A recent client of mine ordered two Noob Daytona watches, both of which continue to operate impeccably. In my assessment, this Super Clone 4130 movement from Noob is more dependable than their 3135 movement.
AR factory also produces a green Daytona variant, but in comparison, I find that certain minor details such as dial printings, case engravings, and inner bezel engravings are not as refined as those on Noob’s version. Nevertheless, Noob commands a significantly higher price, exceeding ARF’s by $300 USD. Both Noob and ARF Daytona watches offer quality options, and if your budget allows, Noob may be the preferable choice.
